Empty nester or a free bird.?

I recently spoke with a realtor colleague  who moved near  Orlando.

I asked her  how did she like it and “ what made her move”

She said:  "I was born and raised in Miami .

I was always thinking of moving “up north”.

After my divorce, I thought that was the opportunity to relocate.

However my son  and his father are very close.

Moving was not ‘fair’ to them.

So I waited and I prepared.

My son went to college last year.

I was an empty nester and at the same time I embrace the feeling of  a happy free bird.

It's been a couple of months up  here and I love my new place."
